Abstract

The new reading of two subscriptiones in the Herculaneum papyri allows the author to identify in PHerc. 362 book XXI of Epicurus' Περὶ φύϲεωϲ and in PHerc. 560 a new book from the same treatise. This discovery confirms the existence in the Villa of a copy of the entire Epicurean work and of editions copied at different times
