Instead of interpreting the nexus between all of Kant’s printed works plus the so called Opus postumum as kind of an aggregate the whole of his work should better be regarded as a planned system that serves as a dialogue between the author and his readers. Throughout many of his writings he adresses them directly. Kant’s writings are certain argumentative steps inside this dialogue which can be seen as a sceptical teaching method. His main target is to teach self-thinking and to shatter dogmatic certainties. This way of reading Kant’s writings all together goes hand in hand with identifying several passages throughout his work as purposely irritating sentences, often also as ironic or satiric speech.
