Abstract

In this paper I argue for interpretation of Parmenidean Being as coinciding with what is visible by night in the sky with the naked eye, and I interpret the well-known identity of Being and Thinking as the notice of unchanging caracteristics (the σήματα τοῦ ἐόντος) dealing with the totality of phenomena. Such notice aims at what I call aspects of knowledge related to heavenly bodies.
