Abstract

The paper informs about Mario Dal Pra’s contribution for the Italian National Research Council, especially from the sixties to the eighties of the twentieth century, when he founded and directed the Centro di Studi del Pensiero Filosofico del Cinquecento e del Seicento in Relazione ai Problemi della Scienza stimulating the activities of a number of scholars united by the common effort of establishing an Italian model for the history of philosophy. Finally, the paper looks into the future on the basis of research and technology developed at CNR.
